When working with a large number of scrap codes having the ability to filter and present relevant information to the device configuration would help ensure accurate data is captured.
In some production facilities, there are big differences for scrap reasons depending on where an associate is working so limiting reason would narrow down options presented to the associate and minimize confusion.
