It would be helpful to control Dynamics 365 permissions from Entra ID for application users (app registrations or managed identities).

Currently, you can configure Entra ID groups with Dynamics 365 teams for regular users to control the permissions.

But, adding an app registration to the group doesn't sync to Dynamics for the related Application User.

It would be great if application users could sync with the Entra ID Groups to the D365 teams for both creating the application users in Dynamics and for controlling the permissions.
