Always schedule updates to Sandboxes before those for Production environments

We would like to be able to automatically schedule updates for Sandboxes at least a week before the Production (either by default or having this as an option in the Admin Center). This will help to test the new functionalities on the Sandbox before going to the Production.

Thank you for this suggestion! With S2S authentication for the Admin Center API and Environment Lifecycle telemetry in AppInsights it is easier to build a custom automation to automatically reschedule some tenants/environments once a new update is available. Some documentation here:


Leaving this idea open to so we can reconsider building more out-of-the-box capabilities to do custom update scheduling if it gathers more feedback in the future.
