Currently, when two contacts are merged, the newly established primary contact does not inherit membership in the static segments to which the secondary contact belonged. This omission results in a significant loss of valuable information and outreach potential during our data clean-up process. It would be more logical and beneficial if the primary contact, post-merger, automatically became a member of all static segments that the now-inactive secondary contact was part of. This would ensure no loss of segment membership during the merging process.
This enhancement is vital for both "Outbound" and "Customer Insights - Journey" segments.
