If you use a Microsoft application, like Word, you can right click and choose to paste as "Keep Text Only". This allows you to paste content and keep the same formatting as whatever line or area you are in.

The clear formatting feature is nice, but in many scenarios - the content within the email has been formatted beyond General Settings. For example, a Header that is a different color and size than the general body content.

It would be very helpful to be able to paste as text only - so that the content reflects the formatting that you have your cursor next to.

The current version of the text editor does not properly support pasting in text without messing with the current format of the email. Changing the format again is a hassle, which is time consuming. Pasting through the HTML code is an option, but this is also a rather time consuming task to navigate through.

Please add support for pasting text without any formatting.

We've been having major problems with pasting in text. If the formatting isn't removed it causes all kinds of display problems. Our staff is now copying the text into Notepad and then pasting into D365. It would be really great not to have to do this extra step - and a Text Format Clear button would solve that problem.

Dear Nicklas,I came accross your post/idea when I was searching for answers regarding an issue we are having in the email editor in Marketing. From what you wrote it seems that you CAN paste formatted text in the email editor (but you would like to have formatting removed when pasting). Is this correct? We would actually be able to do just that: to paste formatted text. Unfortunately all my tests indicate this is not or no longer possible. Can you tell me more about your experiences?Thank you!Joris
