Since BC 23 many more fields are available in 'Customize pages', also known as profile customization. Great improvement!

However, most of those fields are not editable once they are added to a page like the customer card or the item card, because they are locked, and it is not possible to unlock them without using the designer and/or Visual Studio Code.

Please make fields that are added to pages through profile customization editable by default and add a 'Lock/Unlock editing' function as it is available in design mode. This way privileged users can add and lock/unlock the fields they need on a no-code basis even in production environments.
