The idea is to allow custom naming for categories. Companies may have more specific names to categorize types of activity data and emissions other than what is shown in the Microsoft Sustainability Manager out of the box. For example, "Mobile combustion" may be renamed to "Vehicle fleet emissions." "Industrial processes" may be renamed to "Manufacturing and industrial emissions," or whatever best describes the category of activity data or emissions for a particular company.
