Replacement item:
An item with a different base unit can be stored as a replacement item, but cannot be selected in the sales document (provided the unit of the item to be replaced is not maintained in the units).

The problem:If you choose a replacement item,that does not have the same base unit of measure than the base item, an error will occur. (Unit of Measure not found)So the base item and the replacement item must have the same unit of measure. Example:Base Item "Glove (green)" with unit of measure PAIR should be replaced with "2 Gloves (green)" with unit of measure PIECE. This is not possible.
