As a busienss we have always tracked 2 key metrics from a sales perspective - orders in or orders taken - i.e. the value of orders loaded on the system by day/week/month etc and orders invoiced.

Since moving to business central the invoiced sales is obviously readily available but getting the orders taken figure is proving virtually impossible due to the fact that there are different status of sales orders and then moving to posted sales invoice once posted.

Please find a way to be able to keep track of this metric even though a sales order converts to a posted sales invoice!
