The confirm and transfer functionality should support scenario where usage of packing station and confirm and transfer is combined.
The Confirm and transfer feature lets users ship loads out of the warehouse before they complete all the work that is associated with those loads.
This feature supports scenarios where the full load doesn't fit onto a single truck, or where some of the load should leave the warehouse before the rest of the load is ready for shipment. In these scenarios, the remaining products can be transferred to a new load and therefore to a new truck

I think this is a great idea. Something to add here is that the confirm and transfer functionality also doesn't work for sorted inventory picking. So in other words I do think that the functionality might need to be extended to support both "sorted inventory picking" and "packed container picking" scenarios.
For sorted inventory picking the user is really stuck if the load needs to be partially confirmed. This because the confirm and transfer and "transfer shipment to new load" functionality both doesn't work in a sorting scenario.
