We are using D365 to develop Portal forms to serve client needs.
It is required to add more than 10 multi-select dropdowns. Currently Multi-select dropdown is not supported in Portal. Each drop-down list has a long list of options. Therefore, I can't use two options set which displays checkboxes instead of a dropdown.
I followed this suggestion (https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/microsoft-dynamics-crm-forum/424072/multiselect-dropdown-in-portal-without-using-place-holder-text-field-in-dynamics-365/1162962#1162962) which is working fine. However, to implement more than 10 Multi-select dropdowns, I will end up creating more than 20 fields (10 multi-select option set fields and place holder text fields which used to save the selected values. Then use a plugin to read from the text field to save the values to multiselect optionset field).

To avoid this workaround, if MS can add the multi-select dropdown support to Portal, this will be a great feature for Portal users.

Are you planning to add this support? when we can expect this feature?
