This issue is very general, because attachments are everywhere.
Since the first talks with the local implementation partner; that is 3 years and many updates ago; we have asked for the possibility of an attachment to the out going invoice. It was actually mandatory for our sales invoices.
I am really and utterly wondering if we are the sole party asking for this ?
The best is yet to come.
If you are in the sales invoice (Table Sales Header # 36) you will notice there are THREE ways to add an attachment to the invoice.
For those who haven't tried them yet, I dare you.
You may guess one time what happens.
Nothing happens, no attachement to the invoice.
So, the work around is email the invoice and add the attachment manually in the mail.
Even better, if the customer demands 1 doc, then first print the invoice in pdf, joined them together with acrobat pro and them send it by mail.
This can't be serious. If you have to do it ounce a day: okay but not for 50 times a day.
And I am looking forward, what will happen at 01/01/2026 ? Peppol ? xml invoices; embedded attachements ?
This is so evident, it is too much to handle.
