Ideally the functionality available in the GP product should be provided in Business Central.
For example GP allowed us to close off Payables separate to closing the Accounting Period.
GP also allowed us to "lock and unlock" accounting periods but BC does not allow us to unlock once locked.
BC also only allows us to close out a year at a time not period by period - so this would be great functionality.
