For many reasons individual reports can cache info or stop working. As we have also seen, some reports do not re-deploy as expected after promoting code following Microsoft guidelines.

When this happens, it takes a lot of time just to find the cause. Then the downtime to promote code to re-deploy a report that works in Dev, only to find out your downtime didn't trigger the re-deploy and you get to try all over again.

It makes Microsoft and us as IT professionals look bad when we have to redo our work and waste valuable environment uptime.

I would like to see an option under System Administration or in Lifecycle services (full details-maintain menu) to select and re-deploy an individual report.

The usage of this tool could then be tracked by Microsoft to understand the situations in which this tool is being required, and find some other bugs that need fixing.
