Likely can be fixed in no time but impact to business is decent.
Its not susitainable to let partners to customize reports/datasets and then after some updates things will not work or to keep them running we need to pay for somethng what is as basic functionality as it can be.
Having all fields available in BC also available in dataset would enable users to create word report layouts as needed wthout need to go trhough the pain with partners.

Yes please! Fields are very limited on reports. Vendor Payment Receipt report 411 needs external document number field. Vendor Prepayment report 317 needs external document number field. Anything vendor document related should have the vendor invoice number field on the report or available to add to the report. Many want more vendor information on the aging report like vendor posting group.
