International companies need to be able to manage financial reporting follwing international standards (IFRS) or local standards (local GAAP) to comply with local rules.

Most ERPs cover this feature but Business Central provides no solution and for any new customer a customization is needed because any workaround solution will need anyway some specific customization (whether it is about using specific GL accounts, using shortcut dimensions or anything else).

There should be a standard feature allowing either to flag to which ledger GL entries below when posting a transaction (to be taken into the close income statement as well) and that should be included as well in all basic financial reports: financial reporting, trial balance, detailed trial balance, etc.
