After a PO in workflow has been rejected and the user has made the appropriate changes to the PO the following text message appears when the users selects Workflow:
"The current record has been returned to you, or you have been asked to make a change. Perform any required actions and choose resubmit to resume processing."
The user can then select either the resubmit or the Recall button.
Selecting the Resubmit option is fine if the same branch of the workflow is required and the PO needs to go along the same approval route but not if the changes to the PO should result in a different approval route.
For example, we use the Buyer Group to determine which branch of the workflow is used but if the PO is rejected and the Buyer Group is subsequently changed the workflow doesn't re-evaluate which branch of the workflow to follow based upon the Buyer Group so would still be sent to the wrong approver. In this scenario the user should select Recall and then Submit the PO to workflow from scratch rather than using Resubmit. The text message doesn't make this clear so is confusing to end users. I would recommend that the text is changed to prompt the user to use either Resubmit or Recall and indicate the difference between the two.

Thank you for your feedback. Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.
