I have clients who want to use Business Central, but have multiple checking accounts and already use some sort of MICR printing for their checks.

This is a huge deal breaker for any clients with multiple entities they print checks from.

Is there any movement on Code 39, UPC?

Not having server barcode fonts hinders both our vertical products in SaaS BC. We have written in calls to outside services to print the barcodes, but they are extremely slow and hinder adoption by an organization that needs any significant level of barcodes. The processing time is 5 to 7 times the processing time with internal fonts, making anything more than 20 or 30 barcodes very time consuming even with only one barcode per document. Having two or three barcodes is significantly worse.

Not only MICR, but regular barcodes for products - Code 3of9, UPC, etc. - big problem when you want to produce barcode labels. Calls to outside services are very slow and problematic in that you don't have control over other websites.

Agreed Charlie - we have a customer who purchased 20ish different check stocks to go live on BC after having a single check stock with GP/Mekorma. They've been live less than a month and are evaluating options for moving ap payments to something else. Now we're trying to find integrating solutions for them, like Bill.com is for Intacct.

Mekorma MICR for Dynamics GP is in our top 3 ISV products sold.

Intacct handles this fantastically, out-of-the-box.

While I would love for customers to embrace ACH payments more, the inability to handle MICR printing is currently a huge gap in the US market.
