My company uses an accrual award period based on seniority date (start date) for vacation. The employee uses the employee self-service workspace to view their time off and specifically reviews the 'balances' tab. This 'as of date' defaults to today's date which really does nothing for forecasted balances as that will ALWAYS equal their current balance. It would be really nice if there was a way to default the 'as of date' to their anniversary (seniority/start date) as that would accurately include future time off requests and show an accurate forecasted balance.

Another option would be to have that forecasted balance date set to whatever the leave and absence plan is set to (which could be based on the 'last carry-forward date'.

This would be a nice option. I can see a lot of instances where this would help HR get data insights much easier.
