By now we have the possibility to view the current obsolete state for tables by using the table 2000000136 "Table Metadata". Therefore it is possible to check if the table will be removed in future. We have implemented a way to inform our customers about the fact that they are using obsoleted reports by abusing the report caption and send a notification to a proper user.

This way it not the nicest possibility and would be more common if we would have the information if a report/page/etc. is already obsoleted by data instead of having a workaround. For now this way is okay but for future usage it would be good to have a better way.

So our idea is that the Metadata tables (2000000137..2000000142) would be the best option, similar to the "Table Metadata" which already contains the information in fields

We could use this additional data to use it e.g. informing our customer about discontinued reports or pages far easier.
