MRU List should be available from Standard Outlook Ribbon in E-Mail List View. Currently you have to open each E-Mail to get the MRU List for Set Regarding. This should be available in List View too. This way you can work much faster.

Thanks for the comment. Performance is an important argument for a feature decision. We would realy apreciate if the dropdown behaviour could be turn on as an option. The population of the dropdown is not realy dynamic because the last regarding objects being used are shown. Maybe we would have a slightly performance issue when initializing the inbox, but a great productivity boost on crm related email processing.

Funny, same suggestion we did some days ago: http://connect.microsoft.com/dynamicssuggestions/feedback/details/744594/setting-the-regarding-object-for-an-e-mail-should-be-the-same-dropdown-in-the-mail-inbox-as-in-the-e-mail-detail-form comment from microsoft was targeting a performance issue. We would appreciate an optional setting for the dropdown behaviour in the list view.

Hi Sebastian, thank you for your suggestion. Since the MRU is dynamic and hte explorer view has numerous different items (such as meetings, emails etc), the dropdown list was not implemented due to performance reasons. It was a tradeoff we had to make between funcitonality and performance and we believe that performance is more valuable in this case because there is a work around of going to the inspector of the email. Thanks again for your feedback.

This is hopeless, the only time I open the mail detail form is when I write new e-mails or replies. I utilize quick steps for sorting, but to tag in CRM i have to first press "set regarding", then choose "case" and then try to remember the name of the case i recently was working on. Please make the "Set regarding"-button work in list view to. If it works in the ribbon of detail view you should be able to make it work in list view. Both CRM and Outlook are made of the same company, figure it out. "Won't fix" and "Resolved". Should be "Not Resolved" ad "Won't Fix"
