Currently, Item load mapping is limited to Item groups for Load templates. Since Item groups are a common grouping for financial reporting and broader product groupings for the entire business, it makes more sense to add additional options for this mapping. Either adding a new table to link to products for Load mapping or using existing WMS groupings like filter codes would be more appropriate than Item groups.

Agreed, seems like an unlikely design, considering the dedicated warehouse management filter codes, this change would allow for greater flexibility, since this parameter is the only option for affecting the load template ID if using "Automatically create at sales order entry"
