Microsoft already communicates report deprecations in documentation, but many users only discover the risk after they run an outdated report or encounter issues during upgrades. I propose that Business Central should surface “Legacy / Deprecated” status directly in the application UI for all reports that are planned for removal, so users acknowledge it early and choose supported alternatives.

Many users only find out a report is deprecated after running it or during upgrades. Showing a “Legacy / Deprecated” status directly in the Business Central UI would make this clear early, helping users switch to supported alternatives and avoid issues.

Good idea! It would be really helpful if reports that are legacy or planned for removal were clearly labeled as “Legacy” or “Deprecated.” This kind of visibility would help users especially those not actively using these reports, avoid confusion and prevent investing time in features that are being phased out. A simple label would go a long way in improving clarity and user experience.
