Data Export Service (DES) is a great way to sync CRM entities to an Azure hosted SQL database. More and more customers rely on this service to create custom connections that support vital processes outside CRM. Than it is a pain to suddenly realize that the sync has stopped 48 hours ago for no particular reason. Some kind of warning would be nice to have, FI a mail to all CRM system administrators; when the sync is down for over 15 minutes.
