Microsoft as an employer has a fantastic reputation for inclusion and diversity. However we need the Talent product to reflect this insight and expertise. Current gender options (which cannot be edited) are: Male / Female / Non-specific / Blank. This regularly results in discussion with customers where this list of options is either not satisfactory (the phrase 'non-specific' is particularly divisive) or at odds with the relevant legal framework. Germany, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Denmark all have a non-binary/third gender legally available, although they label it differently, but others do not. Please give us the flexibility to accommodate requirements by making gender a legal entity specific list of values.
