When Receiving a Purchase order with direct putaway in to a default "to location" for an item which has a batch number specified, user has setup work policy to not create any work at the time of receiving. Although with this setup, work does not get created and there is no way system identifies that a batch number is linked to the receiving item and needs to be visible on Printing Label.

With this current design, user cannot keep both (work policy and batch number setup on label) and has to develop a customization which is not a go to resolution. It would be helpful to get the batch number on License plate label by adding batch number to WhsLincesePlateLabel.
