Currently when Users export a view from the CRM Online UI into the Excel Online built in integration, the formatting that is presented to the user for fields such as date may not be the same. This can cause data errors for the Consumers of CRM as they can mislabel an opportunity estimated close date with different date format between CRM and Excel Online.
For example, Users in the UK using the personal settings for format as "English (United Kingdom)" have a different date format in the CRM UI. When they export into Excel Online using the Out of the Box Integration the date format does not retain the same formatting.
This was verified and reviewed in MS Support Case, 116113015004471.
Please look to add this small but meaningful change in a future update.
