Default Dimensions - Be able to select multiple dimensions

It would be great to have the ability to select multiple dimensions under the default dimensions screen. For example, there is a dimension "department". One account has department of code mandatory, but they want to be able to select all departments for this specific account except for 1. Right now, I only seem to have the ability to either have code mandatory (the ability to select any department) or no code (which locks down all of the departments).

It's surprising this feature doesn't exist. Every single one of our clients ask for this. There are G/L Accounts where you should only be able to select a subset of dimension values (like your department example). The other ERP systems I have implemented allow for this control. At this point, if you want to allow dimension values to be assigned to a specific G/L account, you are at the mercy of your data entry folks to ensure they don't accidentally enter a dimension value that shouldn't be entered for a specific G/L account. I hope Microsoft adds this in a future release. Thanks for the suggestion.
