In the All Sales Orders view, the channel field shows channel ID for retail stores but shows the channel name for call centers. It should show the channel name for all channel types.
Furthermore, you are not able to use this field as a filter, which would be useful

Thank you for the idea! We are reviewing the option of getting this fixed as a bug.
