In "My Notifications" one can specify to "Confirm after posting documents".
If for example a sales order is posted the user gets a confirm dialog:
The order is posted as number xxxxxxx and moved to the Posted Sales Invoices window.
Do you want to open the posted invoice?

This should also work for issuing Reminders and Finance Charge Memos
