Current Scenario:
While picking raw material, the batch is not displayed in the quantity screen and batch confirmation does not work, once qty confirmed, the picking is done.
Expected Scenario:
While picking raw material, the batch should be displayed in the quantity screen and batch confirmation should happen, before the picking is done.
Business Impact:
This is a critical problem that affects heavily production traceability. Customer is unable to trace if correct batch or serial is picked.
Comments
Seconded. a) The mobile device does not display the batch that is to be picked (at least, it doesn't in batch-below reservation), so users do not have the option to check that the batch they are physically picking matches the batch that the system believes that user is picking.b) When 'Batch Confirmation' is enabled for a mobile device menu item, the system will prompt to confirm batch only if it believes there is more than one batch in the picking location. Effect: any discrepancies in between the physically picked batch, and the system picked batch are not detected until later, where it becomes more time consuming to unravel. If the discrepancy could be detected at the point of picking by display of batch to pick, or by confirmation of batch, it could be actioned on the spot with a cycle count.Best Regards,Tom.
