Currently it is possible to have one instances of index defragmentation/maintenance batch job. Additionally, the setup for “System job maximum execution time”, “Count of indexes”, “DTU threshold” and “Run in an offline mode” could only be done once per D365FO instance.
We would want to schedule additional instances of index defragmentation/maintenance batch job with different parameter setting for e. g. the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) to give the maintenance jobs more time to catch up with tables/indexes that didn´t get covered during the limited timeframe provided during the week.
