It would be great to be able to browse through the attachments when opening one and browse through the rest.
The use case is I have four images in a subgrid, and I want to be able to click "Next" or arrow right and see the next one.

I agree. The close-open-close-open way of doing this now is old school.
If you want to look at one attachment, you probably want to look at the rest of them also.
