While testing out the D365 Sales Integration within Business Central, I have noticed some flaws when the Bidirectional Sales Order Int. flag is enabled that are not present when the Legacy Sales Order Int. flag is enabled.

1) After creating an order within CRM, the ribbon at the top of the order does not show "Submit Order", instead the default options are available (Create Invoice, Fulfil Order). If Sales Order integration is enabled within BC I would expect that the same ribbon is displayed to the user no matter whether it's legacy or bidirectional.

2) When I post a Sales Order within Business Central that has originated with CRM, with bidirectional turned on, the sales order in CRM is left at in progress. However, with the Legacy Sales Order Int. turned on, and I do the same, the order within CRM is automatically set to Invoiced.

There is nothing to track- Its a problem as if you use bidirectional sync you cant change order status to "submitted" and you cant actually get orders to Busines Central. So whats the point of this function or development if missing button or function makes it useless? Its wasted time and effort on this? Its likely that not many using Sales and BC together as there are allot of differences. Foe example you cant choose item variants in Sales when quoting - how on earth you can make relevant quote to customer if you cant understand if you have relevant variant in stock or not?Overall MS should focus on making basic sales function work. thise Sales spamming tools are fun but noone uses as they consume time and ROI is quesitonable.
