This idea is to improve the credit management functionality in D365 F&O. In the current state, a user is able to modify the sales order value before or after a credit check has been completed.

Example - parameter is set to execute a credit check at time of posting sales order confirmation. If user creates and confirms an order for $500, a credit check will be initiated. If the order is released from credit hold and the user subsequently changes the value to $600, the user is not required to re-confirm the order. Therefore, a credit check is not initiated, and we are at risk of invoicing the customer an extra $100 without a credit check.

If we setup the credit check to happen at time of packing slip, this is not an acceptable or workable solution. The problem is many times orders are "packing slipped" in the middle of the night and we can't have 24/7 credit support for when these issues arise.

Additionally, handling this through training of salespeople is not a viable solution. We need to provide complete assurance to the credit department and the stakeholders of the companies that we work with, that 100% of sales order value updates undergo credit check.

Our solution idea is to initiate a credit check when the order value changes either by:
1. Forcing the user to reconfirm the order OR
2. To initiate a credit check when the user saves the order

Once the order has been released from credit check there should be an allowance (either percentage of sales order, credit limit or amount specified). If the sales clerks only adds a couple of dollars to that 500$ order, then there's no need to have it checked again.

This is a critical enhancement as our order values rarely are as small as a few hundred dollars, more often they are in the many thousands of dollars so ensuring all go through a credit check process is critical.
