When Personalizing a page in Business Central (e.g. BC version 20.0) you can only add fields to the ALL view and if you remove a field from any View it will also remove it from the ALL view.
For example, with the Posted sales Invoices List, the User can only add fields to the All view, and if they add (or remove) a field from this view it will be implemented in all views created from this (that is all other views).
This means it is impossible to add new fields to only the Paid view (since the only way to add it is thru the All view).
It is on the other hand possible to remove fields from all views, however, no matter from which view remove a field it will be removed from all views.
The point of using views is to be able to filter the information for different purposes, but different purposes have different needs for information, so it would make sense to be able to have different columns in different views.
Having all columns necessary for all different views added to the lists makes it kind of hard see/filter the information depending on what view the User is in.
In addition to the case some ISV developing apps for app source may want to use Views to filter information, but without the possibility to choose which column to have in each View the customers would end up with a very long line of fields to scroll thru to get the information they need.

Agree - I have list views in NAV 2015 with limited columns that I can export easily. Having to use the default columns for all filtered views is such a pain.

Very good suggestion!

Second that! Most likely I use different views for different purposes and therefore I have the need for different data. That is not just different filtered data, but I will probably look in different columns to suit my needs, and to make the data more accessible it is only logical that I want to slim down the number of columns in my view.

Yes, yes, yes, please implement this! We've got an AppSource app that has a list with a LOT columns. We've added a bunch of views for the user to use. But there are no such thing as "one size fits all" here, and the users are expecting to be able to customize the views to their liking. But no! This is currently not possible. :-/
