This proposal introduces a new value posting criteria called "No Code Value" alongside the option for "Allowed Values Filter" within the "Account Type Default Dim." and "Default Dimensions" pages. The primary aim of this feature is to empower users to restrict dimension values for specific account types while providing the flexibility to opt-in or out of utilising these dimensions.

The "No Code Value" feature achieves equilibrium by permitting dimension selection as optional, yet enforcing restrictions at the level of individual dimension values when deemed necessary.

This approach addresses a wider range of business scenarios. Users can allow or disallow specific dimension values through "Allowed Values Filter" for an account type while maintaining flexibility to utilise the remaining dimension values as needed. This offers a clear advantage over existing options like "Code Mandatory" (which enforces the selection of a dimension value) and "No Code" (which completely disallows dimension usage).
