When performing a sales picking flow you have to pick the quantity that is specified on the work order line which is logic. There is also the option to confirm the quantity in the flow, but in fact this is only confirming a quantity.
If you would like to change a quantity (there is less stock on the location then suggested, or my LP is full and I cannot add the suggested quantity on the picking LP), I have to do a Short pick or a Full.
In both of these flows I have to specify the quantity that I will add after I have pushed a button.
In case of a short pick I have to click in the details to specify a reason code as the first short pick work class is shown by default (or am I missing some configuration here?).
Wouldn't it be better if you always have to enter the quantity (except for serialized items maybe) and if the quantity is different from the suggested quantity the system asks to enter a reason. This could be that a LP is full and the complete function is triggered, or it could be a short pick where you have to specify the reason code.

Thank you for your feedback. Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.
