Please create a new BOM Note Index (BM010415.MFGNOTEINDEX3_I) when you use the BOM Copy option in the Bill of Materials Entry screen to create a new BOM. Currently, it copies the note index from the source BOM to the new BOM. We use the BOM copy to create many product families, but they end up all using the same note. If we change the note on one of the BOMs, it effectively changes it on all of the items in the family.
