It would be a very handy time saver if the user-friendly field names defined in the application could be reused for Power BI models.

I can even recall seeing an earlier slide from Microsoft about the Entity Store roadmap stating "Rich data modelling using Dynamics AX metadata".

By the way, it would also be great to reuse the user-friendly field names when the data entities are consumed for ad hoc reporting via OData in Power BI or Excel.
