Lookups always display the Primary field value when they are used on forms and in views.

When storing data that is multi-lingual in CRM entities, for example a list of countries, states/provinces or cities, only one language will be displayed regardless of the user's language. 

The ideal solution would be to identify as part of lookup configuration, which field is displayed on forms and views instead of using the primary field by default.
