In Germany, since July 20, 2025, it has been mandatory to verify VAT identification numbers electronically.

The current VAT ID validation service in Business Central 365 is required to check against the new REST API from the Federal Central Tax Office since November 30, 2025.

However, this is not happening because only the outdated interface seems to be available BUT --> XML-RPC interface (obsolete from 30.11.2025).
