prenotification before tenant is upgraded

Please inform us beforehand that your tenant will be upgraded for example next weekend. Then we would have a sure timeline to create a new sandbox from the production and test our customer specific extensions before the update is done.

Now it seems to come as a surprise and certain customers would want to play it for sure with their extensions.

Thanks for the suggestion! Notifications and upgrade scheduling will be available with the upcoming Spring 2019 release. Make sure you have individuals or distribution groups entered as notification recipients in the Business Central Admin Center for the tenant. The notification recipients will receive email notifications when upgrade scheduling is available for the spring release.
