Variable compensation plan award does not have a Valid from and Valid to date. This is a very important feature as Plans should have an expiry date. Also the information in the Employee Variable plan award is sorted from oldest to newest and this is resulting in misquoted comp data and complaints from staff who are misreading the data as there could be a long list of plans that have been awarded and the first information that is available would be that of a Variable compensation award that has expired.

You have take into account the following.

You have a variable plan enrollment. There you register for which variable plan someone is enrolled.

Plan awards holds the amount paid based on a plan enrollment. The payment is always on a date, so you are able to send it to payroll.
