Microsoft uses an accordion style inside Business Central on most of its pages and forms, to expand any section of the screen on the card view. The first issue with this is you have to scroll down then click to expand. This is time consuming. The second issue is after expanding the section you must scroll down again to see all available options. Finally, I have noticed at the last section of the card there is very little margin space, and it appears as though there should be a margin, but it is missing.
An option I feel would work better is to use tabs for each section instead of the accordion style. The tabs would be located at the bottom of the first or main section. All the fields in the tab would be available without scrolling down. Selecting a tab provides all the fields in the section and all fields are available for editing. I believe Microsoft Excel tabs/sheets at the bottom of the page would be a great option for Microsoft Business Central for a clean and quick interface. Odoo uses tabs and it is easy to navigate quickly and efficiently. Odoo is a good example of the setup and format I feel would enhance the user experience for Business Central. I am just starting my journey with Business Central, and this was the first thing I became frustrated with. I would also request Microsoft add a Chatter feature inside Business Central the way Odoo uses Chatter. It is a very effective and efficient way for a company to communicate directly on any item inside the Odoo system. Thank you for considering my suggestion to move away from accordion style navigation to tabs navigation.
