since Business Central is developing fast, I would like to see the release notes in the web client. I don't want to mention any products in this initial Idea post, which have already implemented this. As you update the software it will come up with the latest news about the product. At this point we require the technical possibility to do so.

this is also interesting for partners and especially for ISVs. Very similar to the AL Home in the AL Language vscode extension, which shares information not only release notes to the users.

This comes with several advantages:

• the information is spread where it's used. For example a page layout has changed. The user can quickly navigate to the Help pane (CTRL+F1) and see all the recent changes made.
• direct feedback loop. users can provide feedback within the web client about a new feature or if they happen to encounter a bug report it.
• learning. provide real examples through the web client, which will introduce the changes to the user or direct to the specific documentation or even an updated ms learn course. e.g. if the user enters a page a window will show up with the instructions and a tour guide to all the new fields/actions etc.

Disadvantages:

• information flood.
• communication open to everyone, not only the partners/isv/key users.
