FYI, I am used to using the NetSuite software in a previous life and loved the reporting features within NetSuite. I find Business Central reporting clunky, and difficult to locate a real time live report such as an income statement.

I would love to be able to go to reports, click on Income statement and an income statement pop up that is live or clickable. I would like to click on an expense for example and then the details of that expense pop up showing vendor names, amounts, etc. For example, I would click on reports, income statement, then click on miscellaneous expense line item that may total $5000.00, when I click on the $5,000.00 I can then see the details by line item for moving expenses @ $2500.00 for example, and staff party for $2000.00 and hardware purchase for $500.00. I would see who each vendor was, not just the vendor number, how much was paid to them, whether it has been paid or not, etc.

I just went through trying to find this live report version with our consultant Endeavour Solutions and it was a nightmare to get to, and the report didn't have any of the details I was looking for. I think we can customize those reports to show what we want but the experience was discouraging, almost to the point where if the ease of use doesn't change for reporting we will most likely find another software.

I don't usually take the time to provide feedback on this stuff but I was so frustrated with the reporting experience I felt I had to provide feedback.
