Workflow: Condition DefaultDimension.Department direct to wrong approver although requester updated the content and resubmit it with correct condition.

The workflow condition for financial dimension does not work as expected. Since this is by design which when re-submitting the workflow, it returns to the last step taken, which means it would not re-evaluate the condition. The workaround user may need to cancel and create a new one with correct dimension is not effective. Would like to propose for Microsoft to improve the workflow when re-submitting to re-evaluate the condition.
