This current behavior differs from the behavior of purchasing an item via a Purchase requisition AND purchasing a category via a Purchase order. In both cases the delivery address is defaulted first from the warehouse, and if no delivery address available, it is defaulted from the Site.
At this customer we have employees working and ordering for multiple sites, it is not desirable to let them change the site AND delivery address manually on every purchase requisition line. Please vote for this idea to have the option to use the same logic for every purchasing method.

Any update on this? Our customer is also requiring this for their Procurement Category Purch Req.

Is this change likely to be made by MS in the next 6 months? All of our procurement for our projects are done via requisitions and users in the current system (AX2009) select a warehouse which drives the address, or allows them to select an alternative address against warehouse.
We want to move to procurement categories for services and non-stock purchases, but this is a major roadblock in that it assumes you are always purchasing to your own (employees) address, not to a warehouse or external site address.

Thank you for your feedback. This is a great suggestion! We will consider this in our roadmap.
