Creating a report on case resolutions with report assistent using case as primary and case resolution as secondary entity custom filters with related entities won´t work. For example your filter is case - status = fixed, case - owner = current user, case resolution - status = completed (cause I don´t want canceled case resolutions in my report).
Using this filter you´ll get multiple lines for one case in your report. Canceled case resolutions are shown.

As a workaround I´ve used activitypointer as primary entity and case resolution as secondary entity. My filter: activitypointer - activitytype = case resolution, activitypointer related entity case - status = fixed, owner = current user, case resolution - status = completed.
Using this filter only one row for every case is shown, cause there´s only one completed case resolution
